Here's my sharing... some stirrings these weeks and here's sort of what i learn? ;) ok, grace -> no matter waht you have done,no matter what you have become, no matter how you have rebelled against God, he stoops down and says," none of that matters, you're my child, and I LOVE YOU."
My sin is great; Your Grace is greater (:
so awesome right......i know. How great are God's love, mercy, grace and power! I want to share 2 chronicles 20.
12 O our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon you."
15 He said: "Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the LORD says to you:'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's.
17 You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.' "
18 Jehoshaphat bowed with his face to the ground, and all the people of Judah and Jerusalem fell down in worship before the LORD.
19 Then some Levites from the Kohathites and Korahites stood up and praised the LORD, the God of Israel, with very loud voice.
20 Early in the morning they left for the Desert of Tekoa. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, "Listen to me, Judah and people of Jerusalem! Have faith in the LORD your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful."
21 After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the LORD and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying:"Give thanks to the LORD,
for his love endures forever."
22 As they began to sing and praise, the LORD set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.
23 The men of Ammon and Moab rose up against the men from Mount Seir to destroy and annihilate them. After they finished slaughtering the men from Seir, they helped to destroy one another.
29 The fear of God came upon all the kingdoms of the countries when they heard how the LORD had fought against the enemies of Israel.
30 And the kingdom of Jehoshaphat was at peace, for his God had given him rest on every side.
Sometimes our focus seems to wander off, wander off to the earthly things that can only fill us temporarily, wander off to living on own strength, wander to some lalaland. . . . Then when you have realised how deep a hole you have dug for yourself. Left there helpless.... He will reach down to raise you up, for His arm is always long enough
SO. . . THE BATTLE NOT YOURS, BUT GOD'S. BE STILL, HE'S THERE. . . :D
Just like what the people do in verse 18-22. Seek God and pour out all your worships that will satisfy God and nothing else. Worship is a powerful weapon too!
For those who is not feeling well, everythings not going well, feeling stress, feeling down, facing difficulties, facing failures or whatsoever... Don't be discouraged! Just look at how God can preform :D
He has been merciful to you. His blessing have never be based on what you could do for him; they have always been based on his sheer-loving kindness. in the same way, it is your privilege and duty to show mercy to those around you.
Actually being emo, sometimes is not a bad thing yeah? It makes you think ;) hehehehe. Lastly, may God teach us His ways that we'll be able to walk in truth with an undivided heart(:
" There is none like you, no one else can touch my heart like you do and i could search for all eternally long and find there is none like you..."
