HEY PPL(: its finally my turn to share (having had to chase u all to share HAHA)

wanna share wut God has been trying to drill into me
well, its something bout outreach.

everytime we see new peeps in church we ( including ME ) tend to neglect them or keep in our own circle of frends.

i feel that i have sometimes sterotyped certain ppl and that everytime i'm like pai seh to tok to new ppl.

but God tells me otherwise, cus at one stage in life, i had once been like any newcomer - heart hardened. Yet i forget that a touch frm our Father, an all consuming fire, can melt the hardest and coldst of hearts.

so to get to the point... i feel that whenevr there is a newcomer- ANYONE
we shld always approach he or she. i mean jus ask for his or her name. it wun hurt rightttt.

we cant continue to let people pass us by. tho we DO have to realise this, we shld nt get discouraged if we're rejected, for it is ultimately God's Soverignity ( will ) to draw he or she to Him.

"For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same"

Matt 5:46
HMM.... now for the verse of e weeeeek(:

ya know when we face troubles, we can always rejoice and have HOPE, for we know that we have a Father that nver slps nor slumbers and is ABLE to help us in the worst of situations(:

"21This I recall to my mind,
Therefore I have hope.

22The LORD’S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease,
For His compassions never fail.

23They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.

24“The LORD is my portion,” says my soul,
“Therefore I have hope in Him.”

25The LORD is good to those who wait for Him,
To the person who seeks Him.

Lamentations 3:21-25 (NASB)

some translations say "21 yet i dare to have hope". ( wah seh HAHA ) cuz Jeremiah realises that he serves a GRACIOUS and all POWERFUL GOD(:

isnt it great to have a God that is ABLE to overcome in the worst situations, when we SEEK Him? (:

HAF A GREAAT HOLIDAY(:

in God's LOVE,
justin ^_____________^

hey guys, hope your holiday is going well and you'll are resting well.

just wanna share something i read yesterday on a book i got from my aunt, the title is "heaven is so real" by Choo Thomas.

"the first part of the vision was more like an impression rather then a visual experience. it seemed as if the whole world were excited. earth's environment was noisy and busy. then i began to see what all the activity was about.
the air was filled with white, moving objects. as the vision clarified, i saw people wearing white robes flying throughout the air. people were popping out of the earth everywhere and flying up into the air. the sky was literally filled with flying people, like birds in migration."

the whole part of this was a vision God showed to the author about rapture and what is too come.

" i saw my one-year-old granddaughter. she was wearing a white robe, and her hair had grown to shoulder length. she looked pretty grown up. at first i saw her at her house in normal clothing. then suddenly she was wearing a white robe and flying through the air. i was dumbfounded by this vision. it certainly seemed to confirm that the lord would be returning in the near future.
then i saw my daughter's ten-month-old daughter. she does not have much hair right now, but in the vision her hair was down to her shoulder, and, like my other granddaughter, she was flying through the air."

while this is to show us that rapture was not something far away.

what really felt sad was that further down the chapter, it tells us of what is going on to the rest who was left behind after the rapture.

"the joyous vision changed. i saw people who did not ascend with the others. places on earth had been disrupted, some had been turned upside down. it was noisy everywhere, and people were in an obvious state of panic. terror was written on every face.
people were running wildly. total pandemonium reigned. it seemed as if each person was searching for someone or something that they could not find. i began to cry like a little child as i watched people running down the streets. they were screaming and yelling. some were trying to throw what few belongings they possessed into vehicles such as cars and boats."

the whole reason I'm sharing this today is that the thought of christian being rapture is a fascinating thing, but i was truly afraid that those who do not get raptured have to suffer pain and misery... it made me really scared for my family and friends as most of them were not Christians and have a high chance of getting left behind...

i just want to let you'll know that the timing stated in the book when Jesus is coming is near, and that we really do not have that much more time to spare to save those around us. so we've got to act fast or there will be no way to undo what is to come...

OK, so that's all for my sharing, sorry 4 being like so serious, anyways enjoy your holiday and rest well :)

Hey, everyone! :) It's my turn to share now... I found this rather interesting and touching video about a father's love for his son. I'll talk more about it after you have finished watching. Enjoy:)

So, after watching this, i think it's good for us to start reflecting on how we treat our parents. Sometimes we tend to complain that our parents are naggy or bothersome and we might find it annoying. However, think about all the times that they have put up with our nonsense when we were young! :) Therefore we should never forget to honour our parents in whatever we do :)

Hey Guys! :) How has your holidays been so far? Good? Bad? Whatever the case is, just enjoy it while it lasts! :) So I've been just surfing the web and i came across a story that i would like to share. :)

The Long Silence;

At the end of time, billions of people were seated on a great plain before God’s throne. Most shrank back from the brilliant light before them. But some groups near the front talked heatedly, not cringing with cringing shame - but with belligerence.

“Can God judge us? How can He know about suffering?”, snapped a pert young brunette. She ripped open a sleeve to reveal a tattooed number from a Nazi concentration camp. “We endured terror … beatings … torture … death!”

In another group a Negro boy lowered his collar. “What about this?” he demanded, showing an ugly rope burn. “Lynched, for no crime but being black !”

In another crowd there was a pregnant school girl with sullen eyes: “Why should I suffer?” she murmured. “It wasn’t my fault.” Far out across the plain were hundreds of such groups. Each had a complaint against God for the evil and suffering He had permitted in His world.

How lucky God was to live in Heaven, where all was sweetness and light. Where there was no weeping or fear, no hunger or hatred. What did God know of all that man had been forced to endure in this world? For God leads a pretty sheltered life, they said.

So each of these groups sent forth their leader, chosen because he had suffered the most. A Jew, a negro, a person from Hiroshima, a horribly deformed arthritic, a thalidomide child. In the center of the vast plain, they consulted with each other. At last they were ready to present their case. It was rather clever.

Before God could be qualified to be their judge, He must endure what they had endured. Their decision was that God should be sentenced to live on earth as a man.

Let him be born a Jew. Let the legitimacy of his birth be doubted. Give him a work so difficult that even his family will think him out of his mind.

Let him be betrayed by his closest friends. Let him face false charges, be tried by a prejudiced jury and convicted by a cowardly judge. Let him be tortured.

At the last, let him see what it means to be terribly alone. Then let him die so there can be no doubt he died. Let there be a great host of witnesses to verify it.

As each leader announced his portion of the sentence, loud murmurs of approval went up from the throng of people assembled. When the last had finished pronouncing sentence, there was a long silence. No one uttered a word. No one moved.

For suddenly, all knew that God had already served His sentence.

Hehe. How great is our God right! Yup, that's all so.. bye! :)

Hi. erm its like 2am so emma gonna make a real quick post ya?

Just wanted to firstly thank god for letting samuel find back his phone somehow! i think that it really shows that the church is god's home and not anybody else's!

Secondly wanted to thank god for allowing me to be alive. ya so ytd i went to chompang to eat barbeque steamboat with my frens (u guys shud try it sometime) den after that we did the usual crazy thing, play around in trolley and stuff and we went to this slope which was dam dark but was really scary. Yes yes obviously i pushed my friend in the trolley and guess what, there was a hole in the road which caused the trolley to fly with him inside and me outside. my whole leg crashed against the trollley and i cant go church later cos of that but i think me and my fren are safe :) THANK GOD.

Lastly i just wanted to thank god for the week that it passed by so quickly such that the time spent in scl passed in a twinkling of an eye.

SHAriNG START HERE:

i was doing my qt when i went passed a few really really cool verses:

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)

I think that this verse really shows us how life can be so much better if we truly did love our enemies, love everyone around us. Imagine a world where everyone is kind, patient, never rude, never proud, never boasting, never self seeking, never easily angered and does not keep record of pple's wrongdoings... Impossible? not really. I think that deep down in our hearts we just need to have such a mindset where we would treat others the way u would want to be treated.

I think that what i wanna really say is that LOVE IS ALL AROUND US! GOD LOVES US! he keeps us safe from dangers everyday and i think its really kewl that we have such a god. Trust in him and he will not fail you. ! (Corinthians 13:13 faith, hope, love. But the greatest of these is LOVE! ) even in some days where we are really pissed off (i have a lot of these), we should still remember that god loves us and that we should always love our siblings, friends and enemies. His loving arms wont let us go! REMEMBER THAT! kk gtg sleep now. TAKKAIRE ALL!

JARED.
(ps. i'm really sleepy, sorry for any mistakes or nonsense i write)
