So it was 2am in the morning, i receive a SMS asking me if im going to my class chalet, everything started very ordinary. Then i was bored, we continued our conversation on MSN. Changing topic after topic until we reach the sensitive, religion!

He told me that he is a buddhist. I was really uncomfortable when the conversation reach here though. Now i have 3 choices.

1. say that im a christian and brush everything else away and continue with the next topic

2. share the gospel but risk our friendship

as u ppl know.. i have not much friends in tms. So i treasure them. Moreover, the previous time i tried evangelism i screwed it up! losing a friend, a big thing to me!

Dilemma!!

But i have this urge to share the gospel, so i started planning how to make it sound natural and everything, then i said a short prayer and started sharing the gospel.

friend: im a buddhist.

fiona: oh so wat izzit about? ( this is to make my natural entrance.. not that im interested )

friend: alot of teaching.. not too sure. nv got too involve in it.

fiona: oh. im a christian.. [ gospel ]

friend: but I watch documentary..they say Jesus was in fact a rebel><

i thot evangelism only has one barrier.. the courage barrier.. soon to to realize that i was wrong.. he started asking me questions like..

friend: where is heaven? Greek says heaven is on a mountain..Olympia..

And when i told him that Papa God can heal.. he tell me..

friend: sounds like some 乩童 like that..

friend: that means in some Taoism..they get some person who can sort of connect to the spiritual world..den 作法 to let deity enter their body...

As i explain more questions came along..

friend: then everyone in this world will never ever die??

friend: so you celebrate a persons death?? O.o

friend: nvrm..you know everything in this world has to be cycled.. so when people say god created them..at the same time..people created god..

friend: then where does god came from??

friend: without god you are nothing right?? so without you..god is nothing also.. if there is no people to believe in god..there will be no god..unless you tell me other animals believe in god..

friend: okay..if there is no people and other animals in this world, then even if there is god..he would no one to praise him..as good as a nobody..

friend: okay..the universe..martins would praise himself? and bible says alot..some can be accurate..some are contradicting..some may not be that true..

more questions of this sort. firstly i wan to thank God that this conversation in on msn, so i have the time to run through my "notebook" in my mine to find the correct answers that i saved during cell and sermons. I was super nervous every time i am posted a new question, it felt like i was sitting a test that would determine his future. and these questions wasnt easy. knowing the answers is one thing. explaining without using terminology is anothing. whether he is able to accept anot is a totally different thing. the challenge was to give the correct answer without distorting and sound persuasive at the same time. but as u know, godly measures are all diff from earthly stuff this made it even harder for me to explain. what made it worse was.. bickering is how we communicate.. -.-.. u can imagine!! 2 stubborn person arguing!!

even after those hard work. i failed. he brushed it off by saying..

friend: hahha..very long never argue with you like that le.. so shiok!

but i know ive alr did my best and planted the seed.. maybe someone else will sow it.. idk.. i want to thank god that the friendship wasnt broken.. and also i realize the importance of the knowledge of the scriptures ;)

it was a valuable experience. and thats all i have to say.. pardon my grammatical errors.. its 5:38am alr.. im not going to even read through so u ppl can change it for me.. GOD BLESS!!
